That explains a few things, I was under the impression that you produced these offspring. If these hatched 9 days ago, that was horribly irresponsible and stupid for the breeder to sell them to you at such a young age. Incase you do not catch my post in your other thread, I will quote it here:

I will not jump down your throat, however for future instances, these are the types of things you should research prior to hatching eggs - for the animals' sake. I would wait until they have shed for the first time to feed them; keep in mind you may encounter problems getting some of them to feed. Of course, you can start by offering frozen/thawed or fresh killed food. If unsuccessful, offer live hopper mice; the quick movement and jumping of the hopper mouse allows the neonate to develop the necessary feeding instincts and initiate a feeding response. Once of appropriate size, and feeding steadily, I would suggest switching to rats. Hopefully I was of help to you.

Are you housing each baby separately? Also, for curiosities sake, why did you purchase nine ball pythons, at 9 days of age? Most importantly, without knowing care details?

it was from a pet stor near bellvill ont not nine! five years ago i yous to bread other snakes when i lived in T O I have a vast nolage of snakes was joust wondering how often you gays fed your little ones for best groth and most importantly health !!!!
if power feed thay seam to not live as long and dont seam to produce as well as slower grown ones do thanks for your time paul van hooser ps i keep them at 88.9 on the hot end 76 on the cool end rubbermaid containers inside a 35 gallon tank to help keep the temp and hum up

Take no offense, I was just curious and making a few suggestions. You did say they were nine days old - they are, are they not? I would raise the temperatures a few degrees to 92F. Do not let the cool side fall any lower then 75F. Your right, animals do better when they are not power fed. You can feed those little guys an appropriately sized feeder item every five days.

thank for the info yes thay were abought 9 days old when i got tham now thay are 17 days old i got 5. 4 have ate and one has not all have shead over the last 6 days feed ing small hopper mice freash kill and live rat fuzeys untill all have had 3 or 4 meals than switch to f/t rat pups Paul van hooser

I am not exactly sure what you mean, by 'male to female.' Do you mean, what will the ratio of males to females be? If so, there is no concrete method of determining this aside from sexing them. There is always a possibility of an animal carrying a recessive gene (being 'het' for something), but there is no concrete way to tell aside from breeding the snake with another homozygous recessive individual (ie. an albino).

yes you are write abought sexing tham .what i am saying is if thare is a slim chance of a het i hopefully will find out when i breed tham together . I have not probed tham yet wating for a frend whan he comes by he will bring his set with him.paul

That is why I explained it the way it was. However, he mentioned these were from a pet store, so they likely are CH or WC, and then there is always the possibility that the breeder himself does not know that one of his animals are heterozygous.

but anyway, after reading the phonetically spelled out post, what i got from it was pretty disturbing. why on earth would someone sell a lot of babies before they shed or ate?
