sexing my water python

i have a 164cm water python and i want to know how to sex it. if anybody knows how, can you let me know. thanks

Males should have fairly prominent claws. Probing is the best way to confirm gender

can i do it myself. were i come from there are no vets for snakes or any reptile. Townsville doesn't even sell reptile in pet stores. will the snake bit if i do it proply.

Definitely don't do it yourself. Without experience or someone to show you how and watch while you do it, you could injur your snake. You may need to drive a little ways but there is probably someone fairly close to you who has experience sexing snakes and would probe yours for you.
