Anyone go to METALLICA tonight in Calgary?

Just curious if anyone hit the all mighty Metallica concert tonight in Calgary . I totally meant to get tickets but didnt get my friends the money in time and it sold out in something like 14 minutes, totally kickin myself right now lol.

Anyone go? How was it?

METALLICA ROCKED OF COURSE!!!! I had floor tickets & was 10 ft or less from the stage all night. Also on the floor were many members of the MIGHTY CALGARY FLAMES, including KIPPER who was shaking hands like crazy, mine being one of the first. How friggin cool is that? Metallica in front of me going hard & the Flames behind me letting loose! This has to be maybe the best concert I have ever personally ever attended folks & I'm an old headbanger from way back. I really didn't expect the Dome to be chanting GO FLAMES GO at Metallica, but it seemed to happen quite a few times. My old roommate had a "sharpie" that he gave to some kid with a jersey who had it filled with FLAMES sigs right away. That kid will never forget last night, on the floor at Metallica hanging with the Flames. Like I said TOO FRIGGIN COOL! Mark

Mark, sounds like you had a really good time, almost as good as that kid. If the flames win (o.k sorry, when they win) that Jersey should be worth some big money. You should have stolen it from him at the end of the show :)

I was there also and this concert was killer. Godsmack got everyone pumped up and Metallica hand everyone standing for the entire show. I went to the first one also and this second concert blew everyone’s expectations away.
