Info on Plastic peg board please

I've heard a few people mention using plastic peg board and am interested in using it for the back of my Blood cages but have a few questions.
1. Where do I find it, have never seen it.
2. Does it attach normally, just screw in or does it have to be glued or something.
3. What are the thicknesses available? I'm using 5/8" Melamine for the rest of the cage.

umm isnt that the stuff that is really thin and crappy (like the low density particle board), and filled with holes?

"plastic" peg board i would assume is plastic coated....maybe a melamine coating on it?

I've can't recall seeing it anywhere but I guess it wouldn't be too hard to just buy a sheet of plastic (or plexi or PVC etc) and just drill (or melt) a bunch of holes in it.

I wouldn't recommend it for a blood enclosure for 2 main reasons:

1) It's weak, and bloods are incredibly strong. They can ruin pegboard with no effort at all, because it is a very low density board, and all the holes make the overall structure very weak.

2) Bloods require extremely high humidity, not high air circulation. Bloods in the wild are found usually in marshes and mud holes. The amount of air circulation provided by peg board would only drain all your humidity out, and for what? Nothing they need, that's for sure. If you have sliding glass doors on your enclosure, the space between the glass provides more than enough air flow for a humidity loving species like bloods.

I have heard about plastic pegboard in the U.S. before. I think I remember one of the brand names being PegPanel or something... anyway, the stuff I was told about was around the same thickness as regular pegboard so it definitely wouldn't be strong enough for a blood.
