Prior the Calgary Vs Detroit series the media in Detriot was showing their respect for the Calgary team by saying Detroit in 3 (yes I know its a 7 game series thats the point LOL). I wonder what they have to say now or better yet what will they say after Calgary wins tonight at home Huh? Go FLAMES Go! Mark >(

We're going to waltz right through them tonight... they don't have Yzerman, but we DO have Chris Simon back (possibly).... if that's the case, it'll be Flames in 6 tonight!

San Jose might present a significantly bigger challenge though......

Hey, I couldn't be prouder of the team, even if Detroit manages to pull a miracle out their arse, look what the Flames have done for this city... we haven't had "Flames Fever" for 15 years here. They owe us nothing. Hell, I haven't even watched a game in about 6 years, and they even roped me back into hockey. :)

They have done great this year for bringing Calgarians together. I live on Elbow Drive & can hear nothing but car horns for hours from both it & Macleod Trail everytime they win. Heck 1/10 cars in the city have those little flag things sticking of their cars. Mark

Yeah they have deffinately gotten Calgary into the spirit. I totally think they can win tonight judginf by how theyve done so far. The city will be crazy tonight for sure if we pull it off. Who are we playing afterwards? San jose?
