Does anybody have or know of a link for some good information and caresheets of the Blue tree monitor? I've been searching and there's not much I can find on Varanus Macraei. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to contact Mike Stefani (Mikes Monitors)?

They're the same as anything in the prasinus complex.

Does that mean you're going to have some pics to share KaHane? ;)

Varanus macraei, like the other prasinus-complex species is a tree dweller in West Irian, and adjacent islands east of West Irian. These animals eat predominantly walking sticks/katydids/ insects.

I currently have just written a treatise on this group, including habitat and never before informations about them from historical records and alike. Email me, and maybe we can work something out if your serious...
cheers,
