hehe great picture Greg. I'm sorry I had to miss it. Got a massive ear infection and couldn't fly down :(.
The only thing is he put on regular clother right after the pic. To bad would have attracted the "interesting" people. :D

It was pretty cool, I sold most of what I needed to ) Still one adult female IR Blue Tongue Skink FS) and met lots of people like Invictus and TheRedDragon ( Ken and Erin), Vannan, Kat, Rob McRobbie(sp), Ryan and Shiela from SCALES Zoo and many more.
Also I picked up 1.1 Cresties from Scott and Leah Hough and another Gehyra Vorax from Lowell.

Well it was a nice show for me!!! Well I didn't really sell a whole lot but I got a ton!!! I'll post pics when I get home but here is the list, lol
1.1 Jungle Carpet Pythons
1.1 Hog Island Boas
0.1 50/50 cal king
Albino Pacman Frog
1.0 Somolian Uromastyx (MY FAVOURITE!!!!!!!!!!!)
0.1 Adult Ball Python
and a baby columbian Tegu
Hmmmm... so much for downsizing LOL
What did everyone else get???
Alecia
So you did get the Somali!!! Awesome!!
I picked up so many cal kings and I didn't mean to! I blame Marisa!
0.3 california kings! Adults (Christian, turns out that last one was a fem!) All these fems and NO MALE!!
Two from Henry, one is a gorgeous 50/50 with an awesome plain belly, a stunning (crimsonking watch out!) fully striped coastal, and lastly, an adoptee from Christian, a desert phase abbereant (dot-dash) absolutely amazing!!
0.1 adult Goini/Appalachicola king Thanks again Christian!!!
Also an adorable li'l baby fire skink from Lowell Shaw. Captive bred by Lowell. Still retaining a bit of juvenile pattern. Li'l nipper bit me so much! Course it didn't hurt. Ate a waxie for me that day.
As for Walter picture. Wow! Pink looks great!!
Saw a ton of people. Wow, I can't even name everyone. What a great show. Except of course for some jerk who ripped off a GTP from Henry P.
Walter! You da man! lol
Great show and great people were met. Me and Katt were running on pure adrenaline this whole weekend. Needless to say we're experiencing the down now. Sleep...must....sleeep
Thanks to Ken and Erin for keeping me up and giving me red eyes in the morning! :P
Huge thanks to all whom I purchased from, you know who you are.
No holding of Aspidites here but got to hold the most valueable snakes at the show, my own! :D
The Haul:
Great Basin Gopher
Ptyas korros
Scincella reevesii
Great Basin Spadefoots (Thanks again Tammy!)
Ribbon snakes
Colony of Bibron's geckos (Yummy!)
Bunch of feeder insects (More yummy!)
Ron, I need those Tropidophurus!!!
I had to change to many people slapping my A$$! Most were not of the female species either, lol.
Came home with a pair of 100 het albino boa's from Chris Marshell.
Some spiders, beardies, corns, king and a new red eye tree frog set up for Bonnie.

Serves you right for letting people like Chris and Mo near you. They make a nice couple.
I, did not hold the blackhead either, but I saw it.
Show was good, actually got to visit with people a little bit. Favorite thing was the snake neck turtle, then probably the blackhead.
Best part of the whole trip was stopping at Reptile World in Drumheller on the way home. Got a behind the scenes tour by Shawn, watched him feed some stuff and then Dave showed up and took us to the new facility. 2 weeks of building so far, they will be in there just over 1 month from now (June 1).
Not too often one goes to a zoo, and the curators want to get a picture taken with the snake you had in the truck.

Oh, and Mark was the first person to hold the blackhead, and I do beleive the only one who has a picture to actually prove he held it.

Everybody coming out for the snake count on mothers day weekend will get a chance to spend time with our scaley friends, some of you will no doubt have your favorites (anaconda, right Walter??) BBQ starts at 6pm Friday May 7.
It was a great time at the show, just cruising and visiting with friends, no work, no worries. We look forward to doing the same thing in Edmonton this weekend, just visiting and looking, I have spent my allowance for the next couple of years.
Then to get ready for the snake count and social, what a weekend we have planned! We also hope to spare up the time to get out to Henry's show in July. Then its back to business to get ready for Walter's show in Red Deer in August - yes, its going to be a big display, and with all the other activities we have planned, we plan on having a great time.
Hey Mark. Thanks for the helping spatula!!
And just so's you know. All my li'l cali king girls ate like champs! So there!! No hesitation just CHOMP!

I had a blast at the show!!!! Just moved from NB this fall so the biggest show I've been to is the Oliver one. I almost exploded with excitement when I walked into this show.
Came home with lots of new additions. Been slowly adding to my collection since I moved here cause I had to sell all my animals in NB before moving.
Prob my 3 favourite purchases were a beautiful female JCP, a yellow dwarf spiny tail monitor, and a big beautiful male mexican pine snake.
Got to meet some great people too so it was well worth the long drive from Kelowna, BC!!!!
Thanks to all those I bought from and sorry to anyone I missed out on meeting!

Hey Reptiguy I see you only listed your 3 favourites. When I saw ya leaving it looked like you had around at least 12-15 new ones LOL Good Luck with them & THX again. Mark IsBell
Anaconda??????? last time I seen him he was getting bigger but you know me if I must I will have to play. See if he can tag me this time around. I think I would sooner get taged then musked on again.

Didn't pick up anything myself... came so close to getting so many things ;) But i'd have gotten in trouble when I got home!
Though I did see a lot that I'll plan for in the future.
Was cool to meet a lot of you even if you didn't know you were meeting me :) Invictus didn't bother introducing me half the time.

Lol! I second that Vanan. Running on pure exitement. I usually eat like every two hours, and I ate barely at all the whole weekend. Survived on chocolate covered coffee beans, those things sure help when you get no sleep. Went up with Tim, Julie, and Dave, which was totally awsome. Glad I got to meet you all! Came home with a bunch of sweet stuff too. Thanks to everyone who I got animals from. Ended up bringing home 1.1 central americans, a pair of emps, couple of longtailed grass lizards (those things have LONG tails!), female normal corn, and a BIG Pituophis. (which is so cool by the way, thanks Vanan) Spent $210, and I would have spent more if I'd have taken more. Way too much good stuff happened at that show. Ask Tim B. about the wildlife and the midgets. :D :D.
Dave, I think you brought back more than anyone else there! Love the ackie and the JCP. No regrets! ;)
Will definately try to make it to the fall show. Had so much fun meeting you all! That king sure had a nice hold on you there Katt. How did you get him to let go?
Take care everyone. I was blown away by the whole deal.

Haha Slannesh, I wasn't supposed to bring anything home either. The parents didn't mind too much though after the initial shock. Said they'd build me a reptile room as a punishment so I couldn't keep them all in my room. Oh, DARN!
And they think the central americans are big NOW... just wait a couple years! :D
