A friend of mine told me about this log looking thing that didn't move. The man had told him it was a python (he told him the name but he doesn't remember). But anyways, does anyone know what this thing? Does it exist?
Thanks
Shane
I have 100% no idea what you are talking about.
Are you talking about a species of snake? Or a decrotive item?

It's a species of snake. Apparently it just layed there, both ends looked alike, and it didn't move. I've never heard of anything like this before, so I figured I'd ask here because, well, it's the best place to ask herp question.
Thanks

It's the rare Urban Log Python. Known to inhabit the parks of most major Canadian cities, it's a shy but deadly creature that preys mostly on old ladies walking their Lhasa-Apsos in the early evening hours.
Despite it's relatively small size it can consume a 300 pound defensive lineman, by utilizing pocket dimensions it accesses via it's highly developed wormhole sensing pits.
Hope that helps. :D
Perhaps you are referring to the Calabar Burrowing Python or maybe a Rubber Boa. Both have tails that are stumpy and look similar to their heads.

Maybe "the log looking thing" is something that came out of a python.
Actually to help with this thread it was one of kawartha lakes snakes and who knows maybe he reads this fourm and might be nice enough to shed some light on this for us.
