oh boy -- a genetics question!

LOL... I know how we all love these ;)

But anyways, I've just spent the last 30 minutes having my mind boggled by the Genetics Wizard trying to figure out the possible offspring from a triple het mating... and some of the possibilities that came up raised a question that I'm wondering if any of you might know the answer to... Can Anery A & Anery B be expressed in the same animal? Wasn't sure if it was like the albino thing in leos, where you've got Tremper, Rainwater & Bell... none of which can be crossed with the other and actually produce an albino... unless someone has recently succeeded in a double het breeding that I don't know of...

Anyways, just curious... ;) Hopefully someone will have an answer...

If I remember correctly
there is such as thing as anery charcoal. But then the pheno type would be of an anery. Just a regular looking anery. Nothing more.

This is due to the dominance of the anery a gene over the anery b gene. Just like the anery a Lavender or anery a caramel genes. The double homo for those genes are both masked by the anery a gene thus making the animal look identical to the regular run of the mill anery that we see all the time~~
