A good place to start is a Live pinky mouse IMO

Or try a dead pinky mouse, if they will take dead there isn't really any point in feeding them a live one.
You can usually ask for "day old" pinkies, which are smaller than regular pinkies which are usually 3 or 4 days old.

a brand newly hatched corn probably won't eat right away. But the smallest food item you could find is probably a mouse pink, day old and younger.
I usually try a f/t pinky first and then if they don't feed on the first two feeding then I try it with live on the third feed.
Usually works with my little 'plan'
