Nice work! What was the date when they were laid? We got ours on April 15 and it seems like that's earlier than most from what I've heard. Good luck with them.
Thanks for the comments.
Moussekilla:
Pre lay shed: April 6th, layed on April 20th.

Two weeks between the ELS and laying? Wow, that's kinda odd. My girl shed on the 8th and laid, as I said, on the 15th.
Congrats! The wait for first eggs to hatch is KILLER though! I thought I would just pass out last year from the anxiety.

Congrats & 2 weeks between prelay shed & laying isn't odd at all BTW My VBB took 3 weeks after hers to lay. I've had snakes lay eggs without a prelay shed at all before too. Mother Nature likes to mess with us by mixing things up. Mark
Nice clutch!
hah
congrats on the eggs!!

Two weeks is common is it? I thought 7 - 10 days was pretty well the standard but I suppose 14 days isn't much more than 10... Three weeks would have driven me to madness and likely panic, I'd have been sure she was egg-bound by then. I didn't even know it was possible that they could lay without the ELS. Weird.
I guess that's how things always go the first time around whether it's breeding or feeding or anything else, you accept what you've read and freak out if what happens for you deviates. I was lucky I guess that my girl followed everything to the letter, probably more than lucky. No substitute for experience, right?

Hope you get lots of neat suprises - but even normals and amels are great. Getting a nice clutch is great, but nothing compares to seeing those little noses poking out of the eggs - then you really are addicted!
best of luck,
mary v.
