recently, its been getting hotter where i live(central jersey). and because of this my reptile room/bedroom(lol) is having problems keeping the temps and humidity needed. if i leave it how i usually do, with the door closed, windows closed, and humidifier on, the humidity is a little too low, and the temps are too high. so if i open my door or window, the temps get good, but the humidity is too low. i put another humidifier in my room, and that made the humidity levels pretty close to right, but the temperature was still a bit too high. i just switched the bulbs to lower watts so the temperature should be a little lower, but i think it still might be a little too hot. is it ok to not turn the basking lights on? i dont think it is because i know chameleons really enjoy basking, and do it quite often. if anyone has this same problem, or any suggestions on what i can do, please let me know. thanks a lot

i need you to tell me what the temps, are cause some can deal with the temps, but this is Toronto. But if it gets to hot turn the light off or turn on air condition, usually they can handle 20 degrees no problem, i dont have any problems around 20, and the humdity doesnt have to be right on in my opinion, as long as u give the little guy water and spray 3 times a day i think he should be fine. If that didnt make sense its cause im tired lol, back from school what a crazy day

yeah, i understand what youre saying. i do mist them 3 or sometimes more times a day. also, they have drippers available. i think they'll fine.
