Don't know yet. I have to wrangle them from her here right away. I'm glad I grabbed the male outta there yesterday anyhow. Last year I had to remove the 2 of them from the nesting box. She was on one side around the eggs & he was guarding the door LOL I'll update later & let yas know if I get tagged or not LOL Mark

Well it was an easy grab. I just went nice & slow, let her lick my hands a bit & gently lifted her aside to remove the clutch. They were all nicely adhered together so it was super easy. I don't know what record clutches are for these guys but she just laid 17 perfect ones & no slugs WOO HOO! Last year she laid her first clutch on April 16 & it was 13. I thought that was doing pretty good. I had to count a few times just to beleive it. 17 WOW! Mark

Very cool!
I was wondering though if you had moved her into a seperate tub with nothing but the nesting medium or whether that is just a nesting box that was placed inside her normal enclosure?
The reason I ask is that I was worried when I was waiting for eggs that she would ignore the nesting box when it came time to lay and instead just let them go on some very dry newspaper. I don't know that it would have mattered much considering I was checking on her several times a day but seeing that box of yours I'm wondering if it would be better to simply turn the entire cage into a nice, moist spot ideal for eggs.
Kick butt!!! My female is going into shed right now so I hope she lays soon. Totally wicked. I too might be interested in a baby or a pair or the parental pair! Absolutely love these guys!!

Killa just her nesting box placed in her enclosure. They will almost always use a nesting box if provided. They look for the best spot to lay, so if you provide it they will probably use it. You get the odd dumb one that will pick the water dish or under a heat pad, but they will usually use the box.
Katt what do ya got to bring to TARAS for me Heh Heh
THX all! Mark
