Ahhhh, quite the little porkchop for 6wks isn't she? Remember, Adam, she is a 66% het....that gives you 2 out of 3 odds that she is het for amel.. the 100% hets will be at the June show... along with a few amels, of course!

Yeah, she's very healthy in size. :) I'm usually pretty lucky when it comes to odds, so I'm hoping she's in that 2 out of 3 group for het. ;) If not, then I'll just have to buy more from you! heheh! I've got my eyes and ears open for when those amels are ready. Saving up for them starting now. :)
Thanks again Linda,

Yep, they are very similar to leopard geckos in the care aspect other than the fact that fattys require higher humidity levels.

That is a very neat patterned little one, congrats on your new aquisition!
I didn't see you at the show Linda, I wish I would have. I guess there's always next time :)
As far as Fat Tails being similar to Leos, I guess they are in build and shape, but personality and handling on on the opposite side of the scale. Very cool geckos indeed!

I absolutely agree Jon, I could handle most of my fat tails with my eyes closed, but the leos are always on the move. There is one exception with the fattys, one of my normal females is spastic with biting and hissing, almost like she's possessed. However, that seems to be the exception to the norm. All around great geckos!
Jon, I think my co-worker, Jen at Super Pet Kennedy Commons, mentioned you've visited. If you're ever over this way feel free to stop by and say hi.
Here's a pic of me at work...

I was looking at Linda's hets when a friend asked me what I thought of them. After a lengthy monologue about the great condition they were in, the beauty of amels etc etc blah blah blah .... I mentioned that I thought one particular one was probably going to be quite orange for a het, judging by the looks of her at this age. At the end of the show, my friend surprised me with that one as a belated birthday present. :) Gotta luv friends like that. :) :)

I just noticed something about her. If you look at her from her left side, you can see a smilie face in her yellow band. :)
