Yet another captive animal within my native snake collection. Many folks love pits, I being one of them. These guys have a wide variety of pattern. Either it is a bit washed out, highly contrasted, dark or light coloration, etc..etc...etc. I really like this feller..just has the biggest appetite of any snake I have. After I pulled him from brumation, he cannot sit still. Anything that moves is food. He is my garbage disposal when the other snakes will not take their food. Be nice if all snakes could eat like this guy...nobody would ever complain.

Nice Sonoran. Love the normals. Katt's bringing home a female albino for me tomorrow (X'mas present finally being picked up). You're right about the normals being so variable though. They remind me of the colours of bullsnakes. Not many breeders of the normals up here unfortunately.

Very nice! That band that goes through the eye and across the top of the head is cool. I've never seen one quite that colour.
