what is everyones thoughts on this ?

I recently just did my salmon and my albino boa's.

Id only do higher end animals as they are the 1's imo that would be stolen and this way they'd have a better chance @ being found.

when i get my next additions they will be chipped as well within the week that they arrive.

..And if your none high end animal and escapes and is taken to a shelter, it would be nice if it too can be identified.

my understanding is the chips go into a data base with all the owners info so all youd have to do is if it went missing is report it to the vet or the chip people and they could put a message on it and should another vet scan it , it would come up and your animal would be located

my 2 cost me $50 cdn it was a special that was on
normal prices are $80 each + tax

thats my understanding of how chipping works if im wrong please tell me lol

I think its great. Especially with all of the animal thefts lately. Think about it, without a chip, how do you prove an animal is your in a court of law "well, I had an albino ......... it had the same pattern as this one" At least with a chip, they can scan it and obtain all of the information needed.
