BAD:

While practicing rugby tonight at a field behind my friends house we were horrified to hear a dog yelping and screaming in a way( sorta hard to explain). We have found cat bodies hanging from trees back there before and concluded it was probably the same people. Sadely we couldn't interfere as all we had was a football.
R.I.P little dog:( its sick to know people would do such a thing but i guess humans will never fail to disgust me.

On a much happyer note thoe,

After trying to get my ex friend to provide his turtle (turtly) better care ( hes been keeping it ina 10 gal tank without filter(he bearly ever cleaned it either it was basically living in its own sh*t) or basking lamp for 15 years) and offering to find a home for it or take it myself yesterday he finally gave it up to my friend who is buying a huge rubbermaid measuring 4' by 4' by 2' complete with a filter basking lamp and an awsome set up turtly will finally be able to experince all the things any red eared slider should.

Had nothing better to do so decied to share its a shame there should be higher standards for pet stores to inform people how to properly care for pets thaat will eventually turn from cute little turtles to bigger more damneding creatures.
Also he keeps his three begals in metal chicken mess cages 2 feet off the ground without a mat or anything and were currently building up enough evidence to get his dogs taken away by human society and if anyone knows anything in piticular we should be looking for to prove there beeing misstreated any poniters would be helpful.

btw whos going to the expo this sunday should be awsome!! hope we don't get lost(probably will my family in piticular my mom has a horrible sense of direction)
rock on

Agreed, I would have totally lost it. I would have grabbed anything near by. I can't even tell you how enraged I get even hearing about this stuff.

I don't think Walmart sells a rubbermaid that is 4 feet long as well as 4 feet wide or deep. They just don't.

I like HetforHumans post.

I don't think I would have done nothing either. At the very least I would have called the police - there are animal cruelty laws just about everywhere and the police could and would have done something.

The police should be directed to that place immediately. Whoever is doing it will escalate, and that will mean more suffering for animals at the least.

Good point. A lot of psychopaths and serial killers got a start by torturing and killing animals before moving onto people.

Bad:
I would have gone over with nothing but my fists and punched and kicked the person till they **** their guts out! I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT TOLERATE THAT! I was at an offleash dog-field once and someone was beating their dog with a stick cause it took a ****! I ran over and stood right beside the dog and told them that if they did did not stop i was calling the cops. I was ready to decapotate them, i think the rage in my eyes almost scared them away!

Good:
Thats great that you finally convinced them to give the animal up and sounds like its going to have a great life! Thanks for telling us some of the good things that happen in our tight-knit community!

We were in the middle of calling the cops when my friends mom came in and said to stop because she didn't want to deal with the cops:confused: ? either way if it ever happens again(hopefully not) then will get the cops asap sick b*astards. and as for the rubbermaid i just relised we measured wrong( sorry 14 year olds math is stilll horrible:o) It turned out to be 2' and a bit long by 2' and 2' tall so where currently in the process of building a cage out of wood and pexi glass. does anyone know any good selent we could use on the wood to stop it from developing mold and keep to moisture in or should we go with plastic instead?
Thx alot

Call arounf to boat shops. There is a silicone type paint that is available. Years ago a friend built a 400 gallon (it was huge) terrarium. It had a plexiglass front and the rest was wood. He painted the inside with this stuff and it worked great. It was safe for animals as well, his fish wouldn't stop breeding.

Epoxy resin. Stuff is great for sealing enclosures, ponds, pools, floors, etc. I use Epoxal 3:1 available at Niagara Protective Coatings in Niagara Falls.
