I have a 2 year old male that is just shy of 9' and a 1 year old female that is 6.5' Is this a good size for there age? Cause' I've heard retics can grow 12' in there first year , I think i feed them well enough (once a week) I keep seeing alot of other large retics that people have but not too many people say the age.
I feed my larger tic 2 , 3lb rabbits a week and the smaller one 2 large rats a week. How does everyone keep to there feeding requirments?
I just want to make sure I'm feeding enough.

Sounds like you are feeding enough. I say feed untill the they don't want any more. they will stop feeding when they are full.
just my 2 cents

Snakes will feed past the point of being full if given the opportunity. In the wild snakes do not have a constant availability of food, so they are programmed to take what they can get, when they can get it. In addition they also have to travel a lot between meals. In captivity they do not get the opportunity to wear off half the calories they would in the wild. Feeding them as much as they want in captivity will result in possible regurgitations, and definite obesity (which also brings its own set of problems). Too many people overfeed their snakes in captivity, it's gross to see just how many fat pythons there are out there :(
