Could use some help on statics

I've been trying the find any statistics on how many people/households keep a reptile (any reasonable gueses). I know there are figures for the states but are there any for Canada? Stats Canada seems to be useless more thing like this. Any help would be a hugh help

I don't think you will find many official surveys...mostly because there are so many stupid laws limiting herp ownership. There are probably quite a few people that are actual keeping herps illegally and don't even know it.
