I noticed how this gecko's color changed so much in the last two months, by looking at the old photograph of this gecko.
Here's the gecko two months ago...

And here's the gecko now...

It's amazing. I wasn't expecting any orange on this little guy at all. It's still only about three months old now.
:jawdrop::jawdrop: WOW :D
Very nice! I want cresties even more now! I don't know how advanced the cresties have gotten here, but I hope I can find some just as colorful.

VERY nice Cresty! Especially for that age.
Yep...they will do that. Unless you've seen the parents, you never know how bright their color is going to be.
That's why most breeders will try to keep back as many as possible. If they know the parents have good color, then that means the babies will also (probably) have good color. Whoever produced that one would have gotten twice as much money for it if they would've waited until now to sell it. lol
Unfortunately, if you're producing lots of babies, you can't keep them all.
Having seen a lot of Cresties go through their color change, I can tell you that yours will likely get even more intense in the next few months. Congrats!
nice crestie! cant wait to get mine now :D

Thats pretty incredible
Is that one you got from Neil? If so you are any of the others showing any color change?

Thank you everyone :). Yes, this is one of the six that I got from Neil. None of the others have shown such an increase in color like this one did; however, Tigger was a dark orangy rust color when I bought it and now it's bright yellow with some orange speckles.

I'm glad that the cresteds are doing good. Unfortunately when you have a lot of babies you end getting rid of them before you see their true colors. It's colors are very similar to one of the females I have but with the spots from the father. Are any of the animals sexable yet? I like to keep track of the sex of the babies so I can get an idea of the sex ratio that I getting for my incubation setup.

no, none of them are 100% sexable yet, but I have a pretty good idea of a few of them. Any babies that I've bought in the past, which I kept, grew up to be female... so I have an idea on two or three of them which I am probably 70% sure are female. My instincts have been right in the past. I'll let you know, Niel, when they do develop.
