Can anyone identify this bug? Its huge, and look how many legs it has. It actullay looks like it could be two different bugs. Anyway, i was just curious if anybody knew what it was, because I've never seen anything like it.

It is part of the solifugae family of arachnids. That one is in the process of moulting as it seems there are two bodies.

That thing is huge,and looks pretty scary, i'm taking that is US solider's in irag.

Theres two of um, i am generally nice to bugs and such, but if i saw one of those i would have to put my foot down......TOO FREAKIN FUGLY

We have those here, and commonly, in Arizona. Their common name here is the Sun Spider. They are an arachnid.

My first sighting of them was this: I was a bit homeless a few years back (long story), and my boss let me use his spare apartment. As I woke up in the morning, I would see hundreds of what I thought to be newborn scorpions dashing around. After about 4 days of this, I finally woke up to a HUGE Sun Spider sitting on my pillow just about to walk on my face.....

So I took this big girl (I figured so much, because this is what turned out to be the same species as the hundreds of babies) and went to study what it was. I knew another Arizona resident up close and personal.

omg C.m.pyrrhus, if that happened to me I would be screaming and running for my life!! hahaha I don't like how those look... How big are they anyways?

hahaha there was the same exact thread on a different forum that is in no way reptile related. looks to me like it is molting.

i dont think its molting it lookes like its 2 spiders and the one has bitten the other one on the butt

holy-o-crap i have no problem playing with a 20 foot python but if someone put that in my face i'dpee myself then cry like a little girl.spiders and i don't get along.eck.....
