A pic of my female scarlet king out in the (quite bright) sunlight. She's one of the biggest I've seen and eats anything I put in front of her, including rat pups.http://www.ssnakess.com/photopost/data/500/151sk2a.JPG

Very impressive - if she is handling rat pups she must be huge for a scarlet king. They are so different with the red head - are you breeding her this year??

Very nice Mark. I like it. I like alot.
1.1 of those are on my wanted list. http://www.highwaterherps.ca/roundup.shtml
My main concern with breeding them are the problem feeders. I have no access to cheap lizards or lizard tails. The cost of feeding them and the inability to be able to sell is a big factor.
Is it a WC or CB? I would also like to know if you are breeding any this year?

This was going to be my last year for a while on the scarlet kings, but I'll always have a few I guess. They can be a bit much for the average hobbyist. The babies feed very well--as long as you give them what they want! Just about anything scented with skink will work. I often use pinkie "drumsticks" for the neonates. This female was collected a few years ago near Orlando,FL. I traded some hatchling kings for her.

What?! Only skinks will work?? You mean I'm amassing all these geckos for nought?

Still don't get why you don't breed at least one female Mark.
