i did the impossible!

So i decided i was going to, again, attempt to switch my bp over to rats..now everyone who has a bp that was eating mice first knows its a bit** to switch them over. So i was talking to someone (i read a post and wanted to try chicken broth) and he told me to just use mice bedding. Well i went to the reptile store and they gave me a rat and some bedding...i thawed out the rat the whole time in the bag with bedding for about 2 hours...grabbed my hemostats and held out the rat..and what aya know..BANG!! i was so happy :) time to buy rats now! im so happy, i would've been spending so much money to get him onto mice...

that sucks man! MY bp did that the other night, so i left it in the cage on a piece of newspaper and it was within 30min. Try leaving it in his tank overnight, it shuld be gone by morning:)

Just shut the lights and leave him alone. Last night was my first successful rat attempt, I used the same scenting method and got the same response. WAP he struck , coiled , and let go. I turned the lights out and whent and watched a movie, came back and he had a nice big rat lump in him!
