was just pondering it the other day would captive bred colonies of these work well as feeders if they were ofcourse bred not fed from outside?

Some lizards eat them, but I haven't had much luck feeding them to anything other than chameleons. I'm thinking they'd be hard to do CB, not only for breeding but set-up wise.

yah I just figured CB they would be good because I hear they are very high in protiens

I feed em all the time. I go out to the forest and collect them from a "chemical free" area, ie way the hell away from people. Everything i keep loves em. Them, worms, and sow bugs are really abundant and far better than a cricket in my books.
