I just built my chameleon, who I have had for 3.5 months (i got her when she was very small) a new home. She used to live in a 33 gallon fish aquarium, but she has grown too large for it, so the new one is 4 ft high, 3 ft wide, and 2 ft deep. I placed her in there yesterday, and she did a little exploring, climbed the mesh, etc. but today she has moved maybe 3 inches in the past 18 hours. Is this normal? She can't be eating if she hasn't moved either. I have crickets running around, as she does not like to eat from a container, or from my hand, lately anyway. Any suggestions? Thanks.

maybe she is still getting used to her home. when i first moved my jackson into his larger cage, he got very stressed. he stayed pretty dark for a day or two, but then he grew to like his home and now he is fine.

also, it might be, that the temperatures/humidity are not right. so you might want to double check them, just to make sure.

yea pretty much any animal goes through stress for a week or two its all good though nothing to worry to much about, just watch her more carefully to make sure she at least drinks
