I stopped by Flagswipe today while in London and picked up a CO2 tank and remote. The tank was $50 CDN, and the remote was $59.99.
Both can be found cheaper used (check the Flagswipe sell/trade forums) but I wanted a tank with a warranty on it, since used tanks can take a hell of a beating.
The weird thing is that the flow control seems completely non-functional.

The on/off valve (the red knob) is basically a toggle. It's either sealed or blowing full pressure.
So one would assume the blue knob is for regulating flow into the hose, but it has no visible impact on the amount of gas flowing out. It releases at high pressure, enough to fling the remote end around if you don't have it held down.
Any ideas on how to get the pressure releasing slowly? Could be that I just got a dud. Or maybe I'm looking at it all wrong :)
