How good is it! What a perfect ending to a perfect game. The Sens really out classed the Maple Laughs tonight. I think the Mature roster is g oing to back fire again this year.
Go Sens Go!
What a strange game to say the least.. Even though Toronto lost, i must say that it was a good game.. Ottawa's first goal stank something fierce, but those are the breaks.. Should be an interesting series, hopefully the officials put their whistles away for the rest of the series.. slashing on McCabe?, there is no way that should have been called. As well as some of the penalties on Ottawa, for instance, the highsticking on the Marchment hit, his stick was at his waiste (can't remember what Sens player it was). Bad calls both way, phantom calls, but an entertaining game to say the least.. Ottawa came out with a purpose, Toronto came out thinking it was Saturday..

Yeah ... bad calls, Toronto thought it was Saturday, the officials shouldnt call penalties .. blah blah blah - LOL (jk)
But yeah, seems like excuses to me.
Jason
Dude, seriously, read what i wrote again.. The calls were bad, on BOTH teams.. It's the playoffs, they should let them PLAY.. I made ZERO excuses.. You wanna tell me the 'two many men' call that called back, was even a penalty?? How about the Highsticking call on i believe it was Phillips, was that a call?? Toronto played like crap, plain and simple, there's NO excuse for that.. But whatever, we'll see what happens on Saturday and how many 'excuses' you make..

So? I didnt mind the call on Phillips. It was a bad call, but who cares; it happens.

the weakest call was teh slashing call on macabe to put the sens 2 men up for pretty much 2 mins thats what killed the game
the leafs played a poor game but saturday they will dominate the sens

McCabe broke the guy's stick in half!! When would YOU call it a penalty?? LOL!!
All im saying, is that neither team could really play the way they wanted to, cause the Refs, set the tone.. Let the players play.. It's the playoffs, the whistles should be put in the pocket.. Aside from hits from behind, high sticks and blatant trips or holds, not much else should be called.. And, BRING BACK WOOD STICKS.. those composite sticks break like nothing, it's sad..

dude how many times have you seen those sticks break on the shaft while taking a shot
knocking a guys stick outta the hands is not a penalty i was taught to always try and knock the guys stick outta his hands so i could steal the puck
