Awesome!!!!!!
Great, made me want to go out and get a new tatt and or piercing! lol
LOVE that hoggie tatt.
Looks great!!! Is your sleeve done now?
thanks Sapphire Moon....lol...I know...everytime someone posts a tat picture I get an itch!!:D
Dani, not done yet...I've had 3 sessions so far and maybe 2 more left...the first was the whole outline, then black, grey and brick shading of the whole piece, then he shaded with more colour from the elbow down to the wrist and coloured two snakes...there's two more snakes to get coloured, a milk snake and blue racer, along with more background colours above the elbow. Coming along quickly though:)

Awesome! Haha i would get a small one but my parents would kill me! Well they would only get the tattoo'd part aputated. Great snakes, good tattoo artist eh?
Chris
Beautiful!! I definately agree with saphire moon. Makes me want another one!! Wait a minute I always want another one!! LOL, chalk up another addiction, snakes, tatoos, and COFFEE!! LOL. I currently have 2 tattoos, 4 snakes and want more of both. DH at least agrees with the snakes, says I have to earn the right for another tattoo (not just the $400.00 to get it done :) and my TKD master has threatened to take away the black belt if I get another tattoo, not that that is stopping me I just don't have the money or the time to get into the debate with him!!
That's looking awesome, Yve! :D Your guy does really nice work
hey Nita...what do you mean 'earn the right'? isn't the pain of a 3 hour tattoo (i'm estimating because you mentioned $400) give you the right of passage? I think so!:D...anyhow I'm curious why would your tkd master be against it? Does it have something to do with the belief system behind the art?

COOL I like the Hognose. I never realized it was one before from the other pics I've seen. You got me thinking now too. Damn all my trade time for the Eastern Indigo is used up, DOH! Mark
lol....Mark, thats one reason I posted the bare bones of the project...I wanted to show the progress....i knew people were looking at it like "what the...." it had no substance as an outline but add shading and colour.....and the picture pops!:) so far approx. 10 hours have been put into it excluding the elbow piece and older existing work(which he's added too so it all blends together). I'd estimate another 6 hours before it is complete.

Cool. Ya I ended up with 6 sessions. 3 (outline, shading/color & touchup) for the "Hand Of Doom" & 3 (same) for the "Reaper" in behind it. I was only due 11 hours, but got around 14 WOO HOO! I'm actually thinking of making a post & doing like ya suggested on the other forum & post pics of the progress from sessions 1 thru 6 just to show people the process of how things came to be. Yours is looking really good so far. And whats this I hear about a Blue Racer? It should be a Blue Beauty! LOL Mark
P.S. I guess http://www.ratemytattoo.net is officially "Toast" now?
hey Mark, I chose 4 Ontario snakes for the tattoo and already had one, the massasauga, from another artist. I chose them because that is were I'm from and to me the native herps here are just as beautiful and tattoo worthy as any other exotics;) If I had enough skin I'd probably tattoo a wider variety but I've already mapped out all the areas I want covered with other ideas....hee,hee:)
Still got my first snake, the ball python, on my elbow though:)
as for ratemytattoo...i don't know what happened with that site....I haven't been able to access it for a few weeks.
