View Full Version : Madagascar day gecko ! Need help for incubation
Hi everyone! I've just found 1 egg of my madagascar day gay couple. I need help with the incubation! I have a hovabator incubator. I need to know what temp I should have and how many % of humidity I need?? For now I have half-burrow the egg in vermiculite and I've put it in the incubator. Temp is ~29 degres and humidity ~70%. Anyone have some tips??? I wanna make this a succes! =) Thx to everyone who can help me!

They're easy to hatch, but need a moist substrate just like snake eggs.
Moist vermiculite or perlite is standard. Put them in a deli tray with just one or two small holes.
They hatch in 60 to 70 days. Temps in the 80'sF are fine...
You can candle these eggs with a small penlight flaslight to check for fertility..They should glow a pinky color if fertile
