BT's as well as Savs when they are young are VERY HARD TO OVER FEED because they grow so fast i am sure the BT you have at the size it is can easily take 3 dozen or more LARGE crix a day (no worries) I mean jus use common sense when feeding it dont throw in HUGE fatty meals every day like lots of rodents but lots of crix dunt matter they are easily digested. And I know u will begin to notice a direct relation between how much u feed him and how often he sheds/grows and obviuously defecates. As he gets bigger you must slow down with the feedings because in captivity BT's can become over wieght very easily and when that happens it is hard to reverse...
I am sure you'll be fine:)
Although I do recomend having a fecal sample done on the little guy cuz internal parasites in numbers can greatly shorten the life of your baby:(...(he can still live with small numbers but I still get all my varanids checked and medicated)

Good Luck with your BT
Hope I helped you out

Since hes young .. is it ok do give him a small fuzzy once a week are on weekends are somthing .. even though he still eats crix and he wont eat meal wroms so i guess ill try wax worms eveyother day with the crix..and how long would it take for him to start eating again , after he ate a mouse?

I use pinky rats with my savs babies and adults I just find they go down well lol
but you can toss him a fuzzy and feed him the next day his regular amount of crix

These lizards are eating machines and have digestive systems you would never believe (SUPER FAST)
every 3rd day even at his young age you can throw hhim a fuzzy When they are young there is little to worry about its when htey are older that you have to worry about obesity because they dont move around as much and eat more

Dunt worry dude it all worx out

(dont give up on meal worms THEY ARE GREAT and cheap and eventually it will try em and LOVE EM TRUST!!)
