i was wondering if anyone had some pics of a mouse getting ready to have baby because one of mine is getting kind of big

They will look as though they have a very big bum.

well right now one of my mice has two big bums on both side of her body dose this mean she iss going to have some babies
and do i need to take her out of the cage with the male

Well, I'm no expert, but I asked the same question a few days ago. Someone told me that if the colony is established then you should be able to keep them together. Mothers may eat the babies if they are 1st time moms, if they are afraid or stressed or if there is no other food available. I've had one mouse eat all her babies and one other eat a couple out of 10 or so litters.

That's all I know. I've been seperating mine, but I'm going to let the next few litters stay to see what happens.

I have had no problem with fathers around the babies. Wasnt expecting that. As for what the mom looked like before... She was a BIG as a tennisball LoL she was HUGE! Just keep an eye on her and make sure she has an endles supply of food and water and she will be fine.
