Finally caught one ovulating!

Not the best pic but trust me she is ovulating. She was very nevervouse and flighty so I didn't take a bunch of pics. There was nothing this morning so I can imagine what she'll look like tonight. I'll try again then.

Well Trevor, she's looking great! I wouldn't think anybody would argue that's ovulation! Can't wait to get pictures of some hatchlings pipping through egg shells! :-)

6 or 7 eggs is right. More than 5, I'd bet the farm on that.

Ok, make that 5 or more, and I don't own a farm.........


Also, Trev, that female isn't hugely fattened up. Just goes to show, that ANY female can go in any given year, doesn't it. Its both encouraging, and aggravating at the same time!! LOL!!

She weighed in at 1700+ before the season started. She's just barely 4'. Not huge no, but big enough I guess!
