anyone put their corns in racks? If so, what's a minimum rack tub size? I'd love to collect more than one corn, but just don't have the space. I've been thinking of a rack, but I feel a little guilty not giving them more height. I know I'm worrying too much. I do let my snakes at at least every other day to stretch, etc so I'm sure a rack wouldn't be a problem.
Just looking for some reassurance and an idea of a good tub size.
Thanks!
I use a 36 long x 17 wide x 6 1/2 high. They will USE the height, but they don't have to have it. In the future I will be building larger enclosures for my own viewing pleasure but they also do perfectly fine in these.

Here is a shot of the racks on one wall of my snake room...
From right to left....
Rack 1 is juvi colubrids that are almost ready to move up a bin size...
Rack 2 is juvi balls who are also almost ready to move up....
Rack 3 is adult and sub-adult colubrids. Some will stay in this size bin and some will eventually move up to the under-bed sized bins....
Rack 4 is adult and sub-adult balls...
The fridge is a colubrid egg incubator....

I have found my racks to be a great time and space saver. They are as heavy as all h3ll, but I don't plan to move them around too much. ;)
I have a few more racks to build in the next couple months. :)

We keep the juvenile corsn in a rack - in shoe box size rubbermaids til they are feeding on large hoppers or adult mice, then to sweater size boxes til their first brumation. The adult corns are all in tanks now - mostly in 40 gallon wide - I like to be able to see them and like the look of aquariums, which work fine for corns - just much heavier and more expensive for many snakes than rack systems.
Our baby corn rack with smaller tubs on top and sweater box sizes on bottom rows (built a bit different from most because we need to be able to take it apart for moving, so all shelves are removable).

Hey... If they're cooked properly (BBQ), they can be alright. But you've got to make it a double! :D
Mmmm.... Maybe I'll have some tonight! ;)
