The Parents of these Boa's originated from the island of Rotan, the largest of a string of islands off the coast of Honduras, known as Isles De Bahai, the Bay islands. These locality specific Boas were first popularized by Dennis Sargent, who so dubbed them as Fire Belly's due to the excessive hypomelanism known to occur in this sub species. Unlike their mainland counter parts, these Boa's can reach over 10ft in length.
