All Ontario Reptile Expo update....

Just over two weeks away! April 18th should be marked down on every herpers calendar. The All Ontario Reptile Expo will be opening its doors for the first time at its new location. Over 15,000 square feet of reptiles, supplies, feeders, cages and reptile novelty items! A reptile keepers dream date.

Never before has so many vendors been brought together to offer their respective CB reptiles and products. Many of the leading breeders, educators and dealers will be present. Specials galore from crickets to silkworms and from Dart Frogs to Tortoises!

The new facility 2185 Stavebank Road (ST Jons Hall) is located south of Queensway west of HWY #10 (Hurontario St). Its an awesome sight which offers FREE parking for over 200 cars at anytime. The facility is located on a secluded lot across the street from the future Credit River Conservation Trail. One of the most exciting extras the hall provides is the second fllor amphitheatre which will allow us to offer guest speakers once again. The scheduled speakers for the April 18th Expo include Wes Papineaus form the Ottawa area speaking on his efforts with NEWTS. BAZ speaking on his trip to the Madrid Croc Bank. Neil Meister from Nov Scotia representing the Global Gecko Association speaking on his Uroplatus efforts. Our keynote speaker is making his first Canadian appearance to our knowledge. Ralph Davis will be speaking on his Ball Python morphs and then offer a question and answer period to offer his experiences and knowledge on the most popular species of snakes, the Ball Python! All of these talks are included in the price of admission.

Doors open at 9 am and close at 4 pm. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for seniors and children.

If I'm coming from the west on the 401, would it be easier (a.k.a. less chance of getting lost) if I drive down Mavis Rd? From the map, it looks like it runs into Stavebank at the QEW.

I'd rather tackle dozens of traffic lights than go the QEW just to get lost in the wilds of Toronto and Toronto-wanna-be's :)

You could take Mavis or Hurontario(hwy 10) south. I think Mavis might have a bit of a nasty dog leg south of the 401(dont take Mavis). Check it on a larger map... Take Hurontario (hwy10).. its a straight route south
I was down there yesterday.. Go slow once you're on Stavebank.. It's on the left side, and its easy to pass the driveway.Look for the banner signs.. I passed it the first time and had to go a ways then look for a place to turn around.
The facility is set back off the street, and fairly well camoflaged amidst the million dollar residences.(It's an upscale neighbourhood) The parking lot is huge!

There is no ATM on site or within walking distance.The facility is in the middle of a residential area. Some vendors will be providing Credit and Debit card services
but bringing cash is recommended

I'm picking up my snakie that I was supposed to pick up last show, but the little girl forgot to get packed :eek: We likely won't be staying too much past noon.

Aww yay! Thank ya soooooo much for this opportunity! I'll be arriving probably around 10:00 or so and leaving around noon I think. I know it's a pretty narrow time frame, 'specially since I'm usually there the whole day. The plan is to be on the road at 9, but there is a good chance my friend might not even be awake when I get to her house, so it could end up being closer to 11. I'm usually at the sSnakeSs table ;)
