I checked my uro geyri this morning and she was in the process of laying her eggs!!!! I didn't want to disturb her too much so I don't know how many are there so far but the eggs are huge!! I'm sooo happy!!!I'm gonna have to get a digital camera so I can post pics. My female is actually bright orange(unusual for a female to be bright anything) The male is bright lemon yellow.

Wow! she's done her duty! There are 16 eggs! I didn't think she looked big enough to have that many. She was so thirsty she drank 4 table spoons of water!(they rarely drink any!). I served her up a big uro salad for her efforts!

I have the incubator set @ 85degrees. I used slightly damp vermiculite for incubation. Does that sound right? I've successfully hatched a few other reptile species but this is my first for uromastyx!

Congratulations on the eggs out first year with the uro eggs we incubated at 84 and they took about 110 days. We usually incubate now at about 89-90. they take aprox 70 days. Higher temps and they will hatch faster but you are risking deformaties ect.
