Here are my two newest corns.
This female is a little dark right now, might be a shed coming on. She looks sorta like a miami. Her mother is my anery het for hypo and her father is a lavender het for anery. She will be paired with my male het for hypo, lavender and motely next year.

This is my new Hypo Motely male, also darker then usual. This year he was bred to my anery het for hypo. I'll be keeping back a pair of hypos from that clutch for sure.

Thanks for looking,
Trevor
Look at him enjoying that Raisin Bran!!!! :)
Both are very nice, and a male het for hypo, lavender and motley? That's awesome! Good luck with that pairing for sure!

I have a pair of them actually. They are both het for hypo, motley and lavender. The father was that snake right there and the mother was a lavender.
Thanks,

Thanks. I'll have to get some pics of his stomach up soon. It's patternless. Looks really strange, I'm so used to the black squares.

Thanks guys. I'll post a better pic of the female after her next shed too. She normally has much more grey then that. She has no miami blood but she does remind you of one when she's nice and bright.

Very nice looking pair - is the female hypo too or just the male? I love her tan coloration - very pretty. Can you determine that the male is hypo based on coloration or is it based on his parents? I have a lot of difficulty distinguishing hypo from normal motley in photos.

She is normal but normally looks like a miami, lots of light grey in her back ground.
You can tell a hypo just by looking at them. They have little to no black. This hypo motely was paired with my anery that is also het for hypo. I'll keep a pair of the hypo, raise them and breed them and that will give me motley ghost!

Sounds like a great plan to get motley ghosts Trevor - they are very pretty.
My problem with sorting out the hypo motleys from normal motleys is that the motley pattern reduces the black and I have trouble telling if the black reduction is from the motely or the hypo influence - have never been confident in telling them apart based on appearance - was wondering if there is something besides the reduction in black pigment that you were relying on. He certainly is a gorgeous snake - best of luck with the breedings,

In this case I can tell he is hypo by looking at him and I know where he comes from. I bred him to my anery this year that was het for hypo so I can't wait to see what the hypo and the normals will look like coming out of the egg.

This year he was bred to my anery how's het for hypo. Not the snake in this thread. I posted them together and I think that has given some people the imporession that they are a pair.
Next year I'll be breeding him to my ghost.
