View Full Version : Misting system
Hey.
Does anyone know of a misting system that produces a fine mist and can be expanded to 20 mist nozzles and available in Canada?
Please PM me at jlbarb@telus.net . Thanks.

Mist & Cool (http://cloudburst.com/mistcool.html) is what I use. Check out the Starter Systems & Kits page, you'll probably find something useful there. I bought mine at Canadian Tire, been using it for over 4 years, no problems at all the whole time.

i have a website that shows you how to make your own. i dont know if its good or not, or if it even works. i havent had a chance to try and make it yet, but i plan on doing so soon.

I sell the Mr moisture misting systems. They produce the finest mist I have ever seen. The basic system does up to 12 mist heads and the pro version holds up to 125 nozzles. Send me an e-mail if you have any questions. This is a stand alone unit with a digital timer and everything you need. It does not need to be hooked up to your water lines in your house.

A cheap system i made was using aquarium hosing and irrigational hosing from Home Depot, and simply pricking it with a fine pin.. That makes a nice fine mist, and costs next to nothing..
Eventually the tiny holes will clog with mineral deposits, but so do expensive jets.
When the holes in the tubing fill up, just poke some new ones.
Worked for me for Day Gekcos, White Lines, and Flying geckos
I had the system on a timer, that would turn on a valve for one minute intervals several times a day
