He wasnt eating or anything he was just sitting there. the humidity hase been fine, i am misting 3 times daily, what could this be, is it normal.

It could possibly be that the temps are too high for him, do you know what your temps are???
I'm not sure the more experinced cham owners can help, but is it a possibility of a R.I. (resporatory infection).

Never had a veiled, so I can't say if the temperature is okay for him, but I do know if they're too hot they'll do an open-mouthed pant, similar to a dog when he's too hot. If it's URI, then you should be able to see some phlegm or saliva (foam) oozing in and around his mouth and throat (they can't cough it up like we can), his breathing will be laboured, and he will most likely sleep with his head pointing up all night, resting on a branch if needed.
his mouth looks fine, no extra goo or anything unnatural looking. I dont know, mabe it will pass whatever it is.

i think its to hot, bearded dragons do that when it gets to hot for them, how many watts is the bulb? is there a cool spot, so does it have to go down to the bottom?

I find that my veilds do that after i water them they get mad because the water makes them cold even though i mist with hot water, they go up to bask and sometimes will open there mouths, it is definatly a way for them to regulat temps. as long as there is not mucas which would indicate RI and u cant hear any woozing in breathing it think what u are describing is a very normal behaviour in my opinion.
