Mice: Well, I just bought myself a 1/3 ratio, but the thing is I wanted to get a 1/4 but I forgot to get another female. My question is can I put another female in there? They been living together for two days, and before that some of them were living in different tanks.

Giant mealworms: Here goes the giant mealworm question. I been getting pupas(sp) almost everyday now and I think I should start a colony of them. Here are the questions
- how long will it take to hatch into a beetle in about 75ish degrees?
- what kind of setup should I have?
- should I put any thing in there for the eggs?
- last thing, how long would it take to hatch?

I put these two posts together because I didn't want to waste space and so I don't have to check two threads. :D

Sure, you can add new members to the colony at any time, just as long as there are no babies, only the breeders.

I don't know anything about giant mealworms, I'm only familiar with breeding supers and mealworms, so I cannot answer that question.

Giant mealworms are mealworms on steriods so i would be pretty sure that they lay and hatch out reg mealworms.

oh, I thought after awhile the members of the group will bite and kill the new mice : / So matt, do you have any clue how they pump them up like that?

They turn into larger beetles than mealworms but have to be kept in indavidual places this is a good site http://www.iaherp.org/superworms/ as for the king worms i dont think that you can get the steriods and even if you can I wouldnt recemend it for the simple fact that king worms are generally not recamended for leos because the steriods give them an exeptionally hard exoskeleton.

In addition to which you don't want to be feeding your reptiles anything with steroids; what goes in to your food goes in to you.
