Yeah it's definately a true looker.
The only thing that it's a shame is that this little one doesn't have a tail and it's useless in breeding stock..but I am going to keep her back for a pet.

So I have a new pet!!

LOL~~

I love it! Didn't even try to bite me....yet~~

Very dramatic - even the red is very intense with not much hint of orange - and the white has a pink tinge to it - as if all the orange and yellow pigments have been lost in these.

Has Kathy produced very many?

Definately want to see how this one grows up - will be interesting to see if that lack of yellow/oranges is maintained.

thanks for sharing,

mary v.

Thanks all~

Mary,
yeah this one is produced by Kathy and born like that.
Kathy haven't really been able to produce a lot of these. In fact this is the second one from her collection.
The first one was in her book "The Corn Snake Manuel" at the very back you see a hi white okeetee. But I have been asking her about things and all and she told me that that hi white okeetee have been laying infertile eggs all the time. Then last yer she produced "Tailess" and of course couldn't sell her out. So I took her in~~~

I really am hoping to see how that one looks~~
even though it's not for breeding I would definately like to see how it does~~

Strange... Awesome colours on that girl though! Do you think the missing tail might be genetically linked to the white colour morph?

Tammy,

This could be.
In fact I have a lot of great looking corn snakes with brilliant colorations and all. The only thing is that they either have a kinked tail or something is wrong with them. I have heard that this is due to the short incubation time and all. I really have forgot why they say that most brilliant colored corns have kinks or other forms.

But the first one that Kathy produced has a tail. The only thing is that she couldn't reproduce. She has been laying slugs for Kathy for the past 2 years now.

Maybe this brightly colored animal isn't meant for us to find out~

Awwww poor baby I like the contrast of the colors though. I wish I had one like it.
