Can anyone tell or show me how i can rig up a custon power supply for it.

u dont need a power supply. you just get an extension cord cut off the female end and connect the wires to the heat tape. then you connect the plug to either a themostat or rheosstat.

can you pick up custom fitting from a hardware store to attach the cord to the heat tape?

when you order the heat tape there will probably be a product made to connect it to the heat tape. you could also get crimp on rings. crimp them to the end of the extension cord and then put a screw through them, through the heat tape and into the wood.
