WAHOOOOOOOOOO :)

ok, now.....questions: what would be the best setup for a 2003 hog isle boa? Rubbermaid, or aquarium?

Mine started in 10g tanks laid on their sides and then they went into rubbermaids and now they are in my rack.
I didn't want to start off in a rubbermaid because I wanted to see them.

I only use Rubbermaids for my Leos....never tried them with snakes so I wouldnt know sorry:(

Hogs or Rubbermaids? I have a lot of both you know.:p
If it's rubbermaids your talking about, I think they're great. They're light easy to clean and easy to stack or use in a rack.
If it's Hog Island Boas your talking about, they are my absolute favorite reptile. If I did love all my other snakes and projects so my I might work just with Hogs. The only other reason I'm not working just with Hogs is because if I make the step where I work with and keep and breed only one type of snake that means I'm truely just keeping snakes for breeding them and I don't want to be at that stage in this hobby.

why a 10g on it's side? Whats wrong with it being upright? just curious

All my tanks that aren't being used for arboral stuff are laid on their side. Much more room.

I really like rubbermaids for just about anything I can (with the exception of Monitors). It's just so easy to provide for thier needs in a rubbermaid. Like Trevor mentioned, visability is limited however. If you do decided to gow ith a rubbermaid, I would suggest you be sure the lid is secure (or use it in a rack) as Hog's can be little escape artists ;)
