I've got a 1-2yr old Red Eye Tree frog that has not been thriving as of late. He doesn't eat very much, and has maybe defecated 4 times in the past 6 months. He is very slowly getting wrinkly and seems to be loosing weight. His water dish is always very clean, temp. and humidity are perfect. Any ideas as to what is going on?

temp and humidity are perfect... what does that mean?? Also.. what do you mean by "not eating very much?"
Tell us more about your setup. Answer the below questions...
1) what substrate are you using
2) what are temps/humidity
3) is the frog wild caught or cb
4) when was the last time the cage was cleaned
5) what do you use to clean the cage in terms of chemicals
6) are there any other frogs in the tank... how are they doing
7) are you keeping any other species of frogs or anything else with this frog in the same cage?
8) what are you feeding him, what are you attempting to feed him
9) is there any gravel in your cage
10) what type of water are you using... are you dechlorinating it if using tap water
11) how much is "not eating very much?".... how many crickets has he actually been eating and how often
12) what are you using to dust your crickets
The more info we get, the better the answer we can give you.
Let us know a little bit more and we'll get back to you.
