yes yes, its another substrate question. Im really really really sorry about that, but i need to know.
Ok, so bed-a-beast is coconut stuff which is compressed into a brick, right. I think i saw something like that here, but i wasnt sure. But what you do is, throw the stuff in water and watch it grow and grow and grow, still correct here?
So, my question is, will the coconut stuff stay damp or does it dry up again? It probably will dry, else it wouldnt be suitable for a dragon, but thats just a wild guess.
And how much space can you fill with 1 brick? Cause i wanna use it in my enclosure (which is 39x39) with a 3 inch thick layer.

Yep your right it's compressed coconut fiber, and you add water to "watch it grow"lol, but you may have to get a little dirty and break it into smaller pieces.

It's been so long since i used a small brick( i use they huge bricks) but i remember it does a 40 gallon tank pretty good. Oh and it does dry out unless you moisten it again.

If you use it dry then it's fine for a beardie... I use wheat bran for my guys.

It can be used dry or wet,depends on the species you are keeping.
1 compressed brick will make 7-8 liters of substrate,when expanded.
