Eastern Hognose

Does anyone out there keep eastern hognose?:confused:

We have 3 (and yes, with the required authorization, before anyone asks.) All 3 are CB. Two are on mice reliably and are great. One is a pain and needs to be force fed or have scented food. Great snakes for our educational programs, but I wouldn't keep them just as pets. Too much hassle.

Avoid WC specimens at all costs...

Jeff, do you feed mice, ive heard that mice cause fatty liver disease, and easterns need amphibs and other anurans for a balanced diet

I do not believe that myself, again we have hammered this around on another forum, there is no concrete proof that they do need them.
