If you're planning on using the BB gun to euthanize mice, you're going to have to extract the BB or pellet from each corpse. You don't want them in your snakes guts for sure.

Meow man....forget canadian tire etc....go to lebarons...its on hwy 5 in mississauga...and i believe north of cawthra/dixie area...huge store..they have a website...you'll find the best selection of bb guns anywhere there dude :P

I just wanted to make sure before me and my parents go, thats wut the site says. I plan on going to a "club":) wanna learn. My dad had a bb gun, but it broke, and i have been craving to learn. But safety is first.

You don't need an FAC to buy air powered guns or ammo in Canada unless it's just the store's policy, i.e. Canadian Tire.

Meow, anything that is under 500 feet per second doesn't require an FAC. There are lots a guns that push that limit, the majority of them are around the 495 mark (best ones). After .177 caliber, a .22 is the next step and requires an FAC. To be honest, alot of the very good air rifles have nearly the same power anyways...so yes, be careful. I used to collect them, and still have quite a few...but when i was younger, living where i live you often have to remove pests...sorry, but its just a fact of country living, moral or not, you have no choice sometimes :(

If I were you I wouldnt get a BB gun, they arn't very strong at all, probably can barely make it through a pop can. Try and get something like a .22 or so, they are a lot more fun and if you wanna go poppin gophers its a lot better for the job.

target shooting is great. then maybe you can move upt o hunting?? get a bb gun that shoots the fastest fps you can. this would mean the greatest power.

Yeah if your limited to a BB then get the highest FPS. I remember when I was 6 I got my first bb gun and shot it and was stunned as the weakness lol.

nah i dont think i could going hunting, cant kill another animal, i like target shooting its awesome, dart board is fun but doenst excite me that much, bb gun is more thrilling. IMO

If you want to get the best gun for the $$ Slavia cant be beat You can pick up a slavia 731 pellet rifle for about 100 bucks they are insanely accurate for a cheap gun

also i like daisy & Gamo air rifles. currently i have the puney daisy grizzly but i am hoping to increase in quality. but i am going to get my hunting license soon so then i will probably be getting a shotgun. i was just thinking aobut amybe going into competetive shotting of either bb guns or 22's.

i believe a company called "diana" make some nice, high quality air rifles.

Also, there is a range in Vaughn .. i forget its name at the moment.

Point of Interest: when/if you decide to get your firearms license, get your restricted as well as non-restricted at once.. its cheaper and covers all bases :)

neat, what im looking for a rilfe with a scope and im happy:p daisy & Gamo air rifles are awesome, i checked there sites and its very cool what they have. Crazyboy, what do you do now, just shot at targets?

i just shoot at targets. i was shooting targets and then my cousin was using it but he didn't know it was a single pump and pumped it like 10 times an busted the seal so i am glad to say they took it back no problems. they sent 1 back nut i dont know if it is a new one or a fixed 1. also it is fun to shoot milk jugs filled with water.
