My savanah monitor ate some cured silicone rubber today. What should I do? Will it make him sick?

How much did he eat and how big is your sav? Silicone is non-toxic, but I have no idea how digestible it is. I hope everything turns out ok.

As long as your monitor isn't dehadrated, you shouldn't expect any problems. I might look into how he had silicone available to him, and try to prevent it from happening too often.......

Thanks. A small piece was accidentally dropped in front of him and for some reason he snapped it up before I could react. He is only about two feet long, so I hope he can pass it. If I don't see it again soon or if he looks bad I guess I will take him to the vet, otherwise I will just hope for things to pass on their own. Thanks again.
