I did actually, but are there meetings or anything? The website doesn't say anything about that.

Born and raised in Hartland, NB. Just moved to BC though. I found that, unfortunatly, there was very little interest in reptiles that I could find in NB... Don't know about the rest of the maritimes though. I was the only person within like 100 mile radius that I knew of the kept them. It sucked, that's one of the big reasons I moved to BC. Good luck with finding some great people that share the interest! This is deffinitly the place to be asking around!

There a few new corn owners in Woodstock now thanks to me.
No question with only 750,000 people NB herp groups will always be small.

Growing up on PEI, I don't think I knew anyone who kept a snake.
My grandfather had a garter pit in the ditch beside his driveway for most of my youth though. They would throw all the rhubarb leaves from his garden in beside the culvert and the snakes would sun themselves on top of the leaves.
There were so many color variations it was crazy. When I was a todder I'd sit in the middle of them and just ogle them. Then they had a construction crew come through and dredge out the creek behind his house and some of the soil was used to fill in the ditch. All my little friends disappeared :(

There arn't too many of us here (herpers) but i think it's slowly growing. I keep 10 snakes mostly corns ands kings...
I'm from Truro, Nova Scotia... Was wondering if anyone is interested in buying frozen pinkie rats, their $1.00/ea, I can also ship as far as Moncton N.B. and most of Nova Scotia for $10.00 depending on weight, think that covers it up to 10 lbs.

Hi Jim,
Its sad but true, not many people in this province, but it is good too hear from anther herper in the province, I have an ok collection of Reptiles that I'm hoping it will be expanded it this summer. I'm always glad too hear of others from NB though because shipping can get costly. I think I've heard your name mentioned before but I've never noticed you on here before, as for snakes I keep boids. I also keep a few other things. I'm hoping too pick up a few things in a couple months, including an adult female boa, I've got a big male and I'm want too try my hand at breeding him but first I need a female if I'm lucky I'll find one in province, shipping a large animal is costly. Do you keep other reptiles or just snakes? I’m nosy always like too know what’s around, Helps me make plans what too get next.

Hey Jeff!
Glad you found us! How's that corn doing anyway? The ones I had born in the clutch right after yours are growing like weeds, they're now taking small mice. How are you guys making our for food?
Cheers,

I'm not from the maritimes, but I'm hoping to go there this summer to explore. Hopefully I'll be able to visit every province in the maritimes. Some of you might have seen my post about Mexico, well, I trashed that idea and decided to go to the maritimes instead.
