my beardie is about 8 months old. most of teh tiem is looks like he has little bulges. but then somtimes not. so its really weird and confusing.
is ther any otehr way to tell. my beardie has a fairly wide head. is that typical of males? or is there no other differnces?

the femoral pores.
The pinprick type markings on their inner thighs. Females have very very light pinpricks, males have prominent ones.
Those and the bulges are about the most accurate ways to sex.
I can try and get pics of the pores tommorrow for you.

awesome. yea i checked out teh pores before but dotn have other beardies to compare. its really weird about teh bulges. somtimes i thnk its tottaly a male then liek a couple das later i look and its different. i dunno

I will see bout posting some good pics of the diffrences. I'll post em in a diffrent thread k. The batteries are in the charger right now, but should be good to go later on today.

What about it's beard? Does it go jet black at all?

To get a more accurate look, bend your dragons tail upwards. This will allow the buldges to show more prominantly.

it turns black. not tottaly though. he is not quite a year old arond 9 months so maybe not in sexual maturity yet. as far as dispalaying.

i think it must be a female. teh bulges never were that prominate. aswell as teh pores are not that large aswell.
